Competition results that tell you something
Analysis in rhythmees uses ČSTS results to work out where a dancer stands, where they are heading and how the judges rate them. Every club member has it in the app, with what the club's plan includes.
What's in it
ELO and moving up a class
Every dancer has their ELO and how it has changed with each partner. They see how many points and final placings they still need for the next class, and their last five results.
Judges
How often each judge gives the dancer a mark, compared with the rest of the panel in the same dances. At the top: the three judges who rate them highest and the three who rate them lowest.
Comparison with another dancer
Head-to-head results at the same competitions, and marks from the judges who judged both couples.
Competitions and forecasts
For upcoming competitions, a placement forecast based on current form and the field; after the competition, a look at how the forecast turned out.
Club overview
For coaches and management: couples close to moving up, upcoming competitions with forecasts, and the latest results across the club. From here they can open any dancer's analysis.
How it's calculated
The method is explained right in the app: how ELO, moving up and forecasts are worked out, so coaches and parents know what the numbers mean.
How it works
- ČSTS competition results are pulled into rhythmees automatically several times a day. Use of the data is covered by a contract with ČSTS.
- A dancer enters their ČSTS IDT in the settings and the analysis appears on its own. Nothing is uploaded by hand.
- Parents see their child's analysis; coaches and club management see any member's.
- The analysis is part of the club portal: the same sign-in, the same app on the phone.
- Analysis is still a pilot project: the data may not always be fully up to date or accurate.
